Community / Education Projects

Transmission Productions are also involved in the development and production of Community and Education projects.

We provide support and facilities for funded community projects from educational to promotional films.

For example, in the past we have made a film for a community boxing club to highlight the club's role in society and its ability to keep teenagers from underprivileged backgrounds off the streets and focused on something positive (see samplers below).

The boxing club was able to use the DVD as a promotional tool in both recruiting new members and applying for lottery funding for new facilities.

We have also worked closely with an Autistic school based in Lancashire. The films are used to show a wider audience the issues involved with Autism as well as showing the good work that the school does. These films are used to show teaching practices to education departments and the parents of prospective pupils.

To produce the Community film we firstly meet with the clients to discuss exactly what they want the end product to be, we then offer advice and expertise for the best and most affordable way to get there. We then go on to film for as many days as required after which our editing team post-produce the footage into the final DVD.
